A Double Bill of work in progress shows from two great comics – catch their Edinburgh show before the festival-goers do… Rob Auton Following on from his 2025 Edinburgh hit show CAN – The story of a man called Can, writer and performer, Rob Auton is writing his second story for the stage, it is called JUPITER. JUPITER is a story about Rob being an estate agent on the planet Jupiter. One day a couple come into the estate agents and ask Rob what Earth is like to live on. Rob Auton has written twelve five star rated Edinburgh fringe shows, building a live audience through his unique world view and love of writing and performing. His shows for stage include a series of shows on specific themes- The Yellow Show (a show about the colour yellow), The Sky Show, The Face Show, The Water Show, The Sleep Show, The Hair Show, The Talk Show and so on. In 2025 Rob wrote his first narrative hour- ‘CAN -The Story of a Man called Can’. The show enjoyed a sell-out run at the Edinburgh festival, was listed in the British Comedy Guide’s best reviewed shows of the fringe and won Best show and Best Comedy Show in the Darkchat.com Awards 2025. As well as touring the UK extensively Rob has also performed across Europe and Melbourne International Comedy Festival in Australia. ‘A genuine original’ The Guardian  Katie Norris Fresh from a string of major comedy accolades, including Winner of the Musical Comedy Awards 2023, Leicester Comedy Festival Best Show 2025, Nominee for Best Show at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards 2025 and British Comedy Guide’s Next Big Thing 2025, Katie Norris brings a brand-new hour of something she genuinely hopes will be good. Katie’s 2025 smash-hit live show Go West, Old Maid was nominated for Best Show at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards and achieved widespread critical acclaim before transferring to London’s Soho Theatre in 2025 ahead of a UK tour in 2026. Katie is a previous winner of the Musical Comedy Awards and her 2024 debut hour Farm Fatale also saw a sold-out Fringe run, and was nominated for the NextUp Biggest Award in Comedy. Katie recently made her debut on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown (Channel 4), and is a regular voice on BBC Radio 4, having appeared on The Now Show, Do Gooders, DMs are Open and Newsjack.
