Join our wonderful friend and patron Frances Quinn as she lifts the lid on her fourth novel The Scandalous Ladies Football Club.

Please note: this event will be held at Custom House (Key Street, Ipswich IP4 1BZ).

Itโ€™s 1897 and Minnie Newton, a 28 year old schoolteacher and womenโ€™s rights advocate has a passion for football. But this is Victorian society, and football is a menโ€™s game. Isnโ€™t it? Join us to hear more from an astonishing writer of historical fiction, and find out why it was so important to Frances to tell this story.

Hosted by Emma Lightfoot.
