Often drawing comparisons to Scandinavian greats such as Tord Gustavsen and the late Esbjörn Svensson, Soren Bebe has crafted a distinctive sound that seamlessly blends lyrical beauty, contemplative Nordic moods, and deep musical storytelling. In January 2027, Søren Bebe Trio will release their highly anticipated tenth studio album Time Being, marking both a new musical chapter and the trio’s 20th anniversary. Following up on the critically acclaimed and Danish Music Award-nominated album Here Now (2023) as well as Gratitude (2026), the new release continues the trio’s tradition of evocative and immersive jazz while reflecting both on their journey so far and the road ahead. “Delicate and restorative, Gratitude is a genuine thank you to listeners from one of the finest trios working today” – John Adcock, Jazz Journal (UK) Described as "jazz with Nordic reflective moods and lyrical beauty," the trio’s music resonates deeply with listeners. UK Vibe’s Mike Gates praises their latest release, stating: “Gratitude is a stunningly poised, quietly beautiful record that speaks in measured tones yet resonates deeply. This is a beautiful, deeply human album, and a career high point for this wonderful trio.” (5/5 stars) Søren Bebe (DK) | Piano Kasper Tagel (DK) | Bass Knut Finsrud (NO) | Drums Watch a YouTube clip Follow Soren Bebe on Facebook and Instagram
