Steve Tilston, the hugely talented award-winning performer presents an intimate evening of music, featuring his own critically acclaimed material, alongside unique arrangements of other favourites. Perhaps best known for his song-writing prowess, Steve is also a blinding, dazzling guitarist with a style echoing the elaborate rhythmic “folk baroque” but also drawing from classical, roots and the tradition to create a style that is recognisably Tilston. His latest studio album Last Call possibly his final recording of original songs is out now. Lyrically-driven, intricate, muscular, and rooted in the natural world, their sound combines folk story telling with the nervy energy of post-hardcore. Hind Legs, their second full-length album – mastered by Frank Turner – was released in December 2025. It explores climate breakdown, geological time, faith, fatherhood and a deeply uncertain future. Having recently played some high profile support slots with Frank Turner, Beans on Toast and Alden & Patterson, you can expect intricate fingerpicking guitars, mandolin, fiddle and poetic lyrics with close harmonies.
