Join Tash Walker for a fantastic event talking about her book (co-written with Adam Zmith) The Log Books: Voices of Queer Britain and the Helpline that Listened.
Found in the offices of queer helpline switchboard, which has been in operation since 1974, were dozens of log books kept by the volunteers who answered the phones, describing the phone calls they received. These stories are bought to life in The Log Books.
Please note: this event will be held at NW2 (The New Wolsey Theatre, Civic Drive, Ipswich, Suffolk IP1 2AS – the gold roof building)
The New Wolsey Theatre is acting as a ticket agent for the Ipswich Book Festival, for more information about the festival check out their website by clicking the Ipswich Book Festival icon below.
