The leaves are starting to turn. The nights are getting darker. The layers are coming out.
It’s officially pumpkin spice, copper, rust and auburn season, and that can only mean one thing…
The Lariat Sessions are back for autumn.
Join us on Friday 2nd October for our first autumn session, where we’ll be gathering for another intimate evening of country, Americana, storytelling and live music.
And this month, we’re welcoming the wonderfully cinematic Kay Iris as our headliner.
Think desert highways at golden hour. Tumbleweed rolling across the road. A little Quentin Tarantino western. A little Joni Mitchell. A little Stevie Nicks. A little Daisy Jones & The Six.
Kay Iris blends country, Americana and rock with ethereal vocals, blues-soaked riffs and storytelling that feels made for wide-open spaces. Hastings-based and already making serious waves across the UK scene, Kay has played festivals including Big Feastival, Lakefest, Pub in the Park and Country Calling, while sharing stages with the likes of Doves, The Lottery Winners and Brave Rival.
Her music has always had a cinematic quality, from the Spaghetti Western-inspired “Dead Man Walking” to her latest single “Goldrush”, which explores what it means to risk everything, bet on yourself and keep digging for something better.
So pull on your favourite boots, bring your favourite people and settle in for an evening of songs, stories and a little bit of autumn magic.
The Lariat Sessions are always the first Friday.
