Don’t Knock the Dock
Everyone takes the piss out of Felixstowe.
Even my Grandad takes the piss out of Felixstowe. And he works for the council.
“Harwich for the continent. Felixstowe for the incontinent.”
It’s Summer 1980. Punk is making way for Electropop and Maggie rules the waves.
Simon and Gary are fresh out of school. They are 16 and need work. That means…they’re going down the Dock.
Simon and Gary are best friends but, over the course of the next ten years, things get in the way.
“A funny, heartfelt and authentic coming-of-age story” Audience Comment
